HSS/HSCo end mill

Wide range of applications for low-strength materials, though also difficult-to-machine materials.

Multi-cutting universal end mill. Can be used as a finishing, rough grinding and roughing cutter. Made from powder metallurgical materials for use in extreme machining conditions and for long tool life.

Wide range of applications for low-strength materials, yet also difficult-to-machine materials including of high strength, e.g. constructions steels through to tool steels. Also suitable, however, for non-ferrous metals, cobalt and nickel alloys, titanium and titanium alloys.

Can be used with a wide variety of materials owing to its universal geometry. Made from a substrate, SPM, with very high cobalt content. Combines the hardness of SC with the toughness of PM steel.

For finishing steels of medium to high strength up to 1,200 N/mm² (construction steels, case-hardened steels, tempering steels), non-ferrous metals, rust and acid-resistant steels with high cutting performance yet good surface properties. Especially for synchronous milling.

Recommended for cutting soft to hard, long-chipping materials such as aluminium and copper alloys and thermoplastics.

Plunge milling to full groove depth or gradual infeed depth, also for use as end mill for conventional front and circumferential milling.

End mill, twisted end, produced from powder-metallurgical material for application under extreme cutting conditions or for lengthy tool life. High contour precision owing to low push-away action, smooth milling properties owing to low susceptibility to vibration, excellent surface quality.

For finishing of steels of average to high strength of up to 1,300 N/mm² with high cutting performance yet good surface properties. Especially for synchronous milling. E.g. construction steels, case-hardened steels and tempering steels, non-ferrous metals, rust and acid-resistant steels.
