The surface to be adhered must be clean, free of grease and dry. In rare cases, the adhesive bond may cause problems, particularly on freshly painted surfaces (levelling agent) as well as on hammertone finishes or similar (reduced contact area). Preliminary tests are recommended. After removing the covering material (paper or film), the Würth acoustic insulation plate is pressed onto the surface with the adhesive side downwards. In order to achieve a perfect bond, the materials to be bonded together should have a temperature of 20-25 ºC and should be pressed with a roller to avoid air cushions. Vertical or over-head storage of the parts is permitted 1 hour after bonding at the earliest.
