UV filter as intermediate layer
The black PE intermediate layer filters out UV rays, thereby allowing outdoor use.
UV-stabilised rubber adhesive
Experience shows that the tape can be removed from many substrates including outdoors within up to 4 weeks without leaving residue.
High-quality rubber adhesive with high initial adhesion
Excellent adhesion on all non-porous substrates found in the construction sector, e.g. wood, metal, stone.
Can be torn off by hand
Fast, easy application (can be torn both lengthways and crossways).
Dimensionally stable
Completely straight masking is possible.
- To ensure residue-free removal, the maximum duration of use should not exceed 4 weeks. The maximum adhesion time can vary, depending on exposure to direct sunlight and season.
- Consider the surface temperature of metals in direct sunlight. Do not apply to very warm surfaces.
- Plastic surfaces containing softeners may cause residue to be left behind.
- For protecting surfaces during painting, plastering and stucco plastering both indoors and outdoors. For attaching and adhering covering materials such as films and paper webs or when applying heat insulation. For protecting e.g. window profiles against soiling from painting materials and scratching made by plastering materials and tools.
- Suitable for common trade surfaces such as plain and painted metals, hard PVC, painted wood, stone, masonry.
- Not suitable for porous and absorbent surfaces such as porous natural stone, marble, granite, concrete and untreated wood. Discolouration may occur on these surfaces.
- Not suitable for plastics containing plasticisers, such as soft PVC, PP, PE etc.
The surfaces to be adhered must be fully dry, stable and free from dust, grease and oil. Do not use on weathered or damaged surfaces. Top coat must adhere well to the surface. Porous and absorbent surfaces must be pre-treated with primer.
