For accurate fastening of profile wood boards (groove/spring) in ceiling and floor applications.

Zinc-plated steel, yellow, partial thread, 60° countersunk milling head, centring drilling tip, AW drive.

Precise positioning, no rupturing

Precise positioning of the screw is no problem at all thanks to its centring drilling tip, which was specially designed for this purpose. The drilling cutting edges guarantee perfect drilling performance, just like a Forstner bit. They also prevent troublesome splitting or rupturing of the wood.

Easy and clean countersinking

Countersinking the 60° countersunk milling head is very quick and easy, thanks to its small diameter.

Effortless screwing-in

Thanks to a special plastic glide coating, the screw is very easy to use.

No creaking and squeaking noises

The sharp single-flight and asymmetrical full thread successfully prevents creaking and squeaking noises when treading on the floor.

AW drive for optimum guidance and transmission of force

Thanks to the AW drive, a tight fit of the bit in the screw drive is guaranteed. This prevents wobbling impacts and sliding of the bit from the screw while screwing in.

Notice

ASSY 3.0 chipboard screws are optimised for use in wooden materials. Use in plastic anchors may cause a reduction in the load-bearing capacity. Therefore, we recommend only using screws without optimised thread tips (drill tip, mating thread, ring thread, serrated edge, self-clearing groove etc.) in plastic anchors, e.g. ASSY D, DIN 571 hexagon wood screws or Wüpofast screws.

Fastening of profile wood boards (groove/spring) in ceiling and floor applications

Instructions

Screw-in angle 0° to 90°. For coniferous wood or wood-based materials made from softwood, the screw connection is made without pre-drilling. To reduce the edge distances, a pre-drilled hole can be made according to the core diameter. When screwing into hardwood, pre-drill according to ETA-11/0190.
